Dr. Amanda Merritt
Dr. Amanda Merritt is from Easley, South Carolina, and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Presbyterian College.
She earned her DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She then practiced as an associate for 11 years before opening Merritt Family Dentistry in 2015.
Dr. Merritt is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, and the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics.
She has also attended the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and was recently certified in Botox Cosmetic and Botox Therapeutic treatments.
Dr. Merritt enjoys spending time with her husband Brent, daughter Presley and son Foster. Her hobbies include boating, exercising, attending Clemson football games, reading, and cooking.
Dr. Snipes
Dr. Snipes is from Florence, South Carolina; she graduated from Clemson University and achieved her Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the Medical University of South Carolina.
She has completed continuing education in orthodontics/clear aligners, implant dentistry, surgical extractions, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry.
Her professional memberships include the Academy of General Dentistry, the South Carolina Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Charleston Collaborative Study Club.
Dr. Snipes volunteers with The Dental Lifeline Network to help those in need gain a confident and functioning smile. She loves teaching, learning, and sharing her passion for dentistry with her patients, co-workers, and friends!
Dr. Snipes and her husband David live in West Ashley with their daughters Kate and Olivia; and their dogs Sugar and Coco! The Snipes especially enjoy cooking and being outdoors with family and friends.
